Candle Card and box

A Friend of mine is going through some quite major health problems at the moment so I wanted to give her something a little bit special to hopefully cheer her up and to show that I was thinking of her so I made a candle card and box, you have seen these before from me I know, these are a little different though as the candles match our lovely stampin up colours, I can't take credit for this another demonstrator spotted them in Asda if you would like to get your hands on some.

The candles match perfectly with the Bermuda Bay card and I've used the tea time papers on this too.

The flowers are from the flower shop stamp set and the sentiment is from the Chalk talk set

The window was punch out using the decorative label punch and I added a bit of window sheet to it to stop the candles from falling out.

The box was also made with the tea time papers and again the sentiment is from the chalk talk stamp set

Hope you like todays little offering, if you would like any of the products made to use this project please click the 'shop now' tab or contact me at debbie72keating@yahoo.co.uk.

There is a you tube video on how to make the card and box here

A Little Flower Shop

It's very cold here today, but no frost on the car this morning thank God! Today I'm going to share with you a birthday card I made for a friend using the new incolours and the flower shop stamp set.

Nice bright colours for a winter birthday as you can see from this photo I also used the script embossing folder on the bottom of my whisper white card

The flowers where stamped in the same colours I'd used for the card and some pearls were added to the centers.

I also stamped some flowers onto the inside of the card too. Hope you like it. Again I've used my favorite size card 6 x 6.

Swallowtail

I'm preparing to do some Christmas tag making today with any luck, The Rayster has managed to do all our Christmas shopping so now it's just down to me to bag and tag it all.  Today you are going to get three for the price of one.  A card, gift tag and gift bag all using the swallow tail stamp.

First here's the card

Butterfly in flight, I Stamped out the swallowtail twice and embossed it with black embossing powder then coloured it using the stampin write markers.  I then stick them together so that I could get the 'in flight' motion.

Here's a closer look.

The grass is from the wetlands stamp set and I just stamped it along the bottom of the card making the grass slightly higher on either end.

Here's the matching gift bag

and here's the tag

I thought I'd seen this technique on you tube but I now can't find it for love nor money, if, dear reader you come across it please let me know so that I can credit it on here.

That's all for now

Flocks of Butterflies

Are they even called a flock? My dad once told me (When I was very small) that butterflies never fly in straight lines because they have hay fever and are sneezing all the time, and that was why you never see them flying in flocks because the power of one thousand butterfly sneezes would be immense lol.

Anyway enough of that silliness and on to today's project which is a gift, gift bag and tag

It uses the lovely papillion pot pourri set in daffodil delight and Tangerine Tango

Heres a closer look at the matching tag

I added some pearls to the bodies of ALL the butterflies

Here's the matching gift using the Tag a Bag gift boxes

Here's a closer look at the flower

Thinlets Christmas

My we've had a very busy week here in the Keating household.  It was half term last week here so Scott and I set about making little treat boxes to pack sweeties into for the trick or treaters.  It was also my birthday on saturday (21 again lol) and Scott made me a lovely voucher booklet for hugs and kisses.

Anyhoo enough of me and onto todays make which again uses the thinlets die and the best of Christmas stamp set.

I do believe that i am quite addicted to these,  I've also used the winter frost papers on this card too

I finished it off with one of the frosted finishes just love these but I don't ever want to used them! They are just too nice.
